Rodef Sholom S'lichah : On Saturday, September 20, the congregation came together to celebrate S'lichah ("forgiveness"), a moving ceremony preparing us for the High Holy Days. The service which was preceded by an informal reception in the Sanctuary lobby, featured the celestial singing of Rodef Sholom's own artist-in-residence, Dan Nichols. A highlight of the moving evening was the candlelit portion when the darkened room hushed all anxieties and brought a sense of awe reminding all of the coming days.

Mitzvah Day : Sunday October 26 was the 15th annual Mitzvah Day when the Rodef Sholom families come together to help out on many projects benefitting the greater community.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Retreat @ Camp Newman : On a glorious fall weekend, November 14-16, families from our congregation joined together to honor their children's upcoming Bar or Bat Mitzvot. Songs were sung, games played, talents displayed, thoughts exchanged, prayers offered and love shared -- all in a setting of delicious, natural beauty in Sonoma County's backcountry.
